Stearns County Ditch 18 (CD18)

Stearns County Ditch 18 (CD18) was established in 1905. The ditch is approximately 2.3 miles in length and contains roughly 874 benefitted acres. CD18 is not considered public waters.

During the past year, there has not been any maintenance to the ditch, and Stearns County has not received any concerns about the condition of the ditch from property owners. The ditch system is scheduled for its legally required inspection in 2023. The inspection and any maintenance performed next year will generate costs for the drainage system which are paid by all property owners within the system through special assessments.
